Jumpsuits are no longer a style option – they’re a must have in every woman’s wardrobe.
But firstly you might be wondering what are jumpsuits? In this day and age they’re called by many different names – catsuit, leotard, full body leotard, bodysuit, onesie. For simplicity we define jumpsuits as full length or 3/4 length fitted one-piece outfits designed to fit and flatter your body.
In our other post you can see we differentiate jumpsuits from bodysuits, which are our g-string cut to wear with pants, skirts or shorts as you see fit.
So why do we love jumpsuits? Here are 5 key reasons:
1. They flatter and fit all your curves.
No matter what your shape is – they hold you in whilst accentuating your best assets. With the right amount of compression, you feel supported yet free to move.
2. They allow unlimited movement
With nothing in the way and no bits sticking out, it literally feels like you’re wearing a second skin. Ideal for dancing, yoga, gym and any activity that requires endless movement you sometimes forget you’re even wearing clothing.
3. They look infinitely feminine
There’s something so alluring about a form-fitting one piece it’s undeniable. By outlining a flattering figure on every body shape, you can feel confident and also safe exuding your femininity.
4. They’re stunningly unique
We’ve loved jumpsuits for a long time now but they’re only slowly becoming more popular in Australia. They’re different from your traditional activewear options and each piece has its own unique design – whether it be a graceful neckline, an intricate back detail, or seamless side silhouette, you’ll be receiving a lot of positive comments on your unique outfit (we certainly did when wearing ours).
5. They can be paired with just about any top or accessories
Cool autumn breeze? Throw on a 3/4 sleeve top. Cold winter day? Layer with a jumper. You can pair them with sneakers for a casual Sunday look or dress them up with dance shoes & bling accessories for a night out of partying. The sky is the limit for these versatile pieces!
